Enrollment Timeline For New Students
Your Tartan Portal is the best place to track your progress towards becoming a Fighting Scot! Remember to check your “Tartan To-Do List” within your Tartan Portal to ensure that you are completing all steps to ensure a smooth transition to Monmouth. Your log-in is the email you used to apply and the password you established.
(Hint: If you are admitted to Monmouth and cannot see your Tartan To-Do List, make sure you view your decision letter located in the red box titled “Status Update Available!” so your portal will update .)
You’ll also need your Monmouth College Self-Service student account information (username and password) and be sure you have established your account with Multi-Factor Authentication. (Monmouth College student account information is emailed to all admitted students; look for an email with the subject line: Important: Your Username and Temporary Password for Monmouth College.)
The Tartan Portal is for both prospective and admitted students navigating the admission and enrollment process. The Self-Service portal is only for those who have been officially admitted to college. It allows you to complete tasks like: view financial aid and your billing statements, register for courses, view grades, etc. and is designed for enrolled or newly enrolled students.
Financial aid offers are available to admitted students beginning mid-November and going out on a rolling basis as we receive the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
We require all families to schedule a financial aid conversation with your admission counselor once you receive your financial aid offer. We would love the opportunity to review the offer with you to answer questions and discuss the types of aid available to you, payment options, and how Monmouth can be part of your future success.
Exclusive event for Admitted Students & Guests. RSVP will be available in mid-February in the Tartan Portal.
To submit your enrollment deposit, and officially commit to Monmouth College, log in to your Tartan Portal and select “Reply to Your Offer of Admission” under the Tartan To-Do List. Then follow the steps to reply and submit your payment.
Living on campus is the best! Access to the form will be sent by email to committed students beginning in mid-February.
Please upload a photo for your student ID through your Tartan Portal (requirements and photo guidelines will be sent by email)
Summer orientation is a great day to get back on campus and meet your new fellow Fighting Scots! Required for all new students, optional for parents/guests.
Immunization Records and Health Forms are required for all students. Additionally, athletic health forms are required for all students participating in varsity athletics.
Please note that federal and state financial aid will not be credited to a student’s account until we have received your final high school transcript confirming your diploma has been earned.
Please note that all official college transcripts are required to award previously earned credit.
Please submit AP/IB Test Results and College Transcripts for dual credit by August 1 (if applicable).
Move In schedule for fall 2026 coming soon! Students who participate in fall sports or marching band may move in earlier; students should check in with their coach or director for more details.
