Dentistry requires a wide variety of skills in order to diagnose and treat diseases, injuries and malformations of the teeth and mouth; improve a patient’s appearance; perform surgical procedures; conduct research; and communicate with and educate patients, future dentists and dental hygienists. It also provides opportunity to be your own boss, own a dental practice, and have flexibility between professional and personal life.
Our Pre-Dentistry program is designed to make sure you’re fully ready for those challenges. You’ll gain hands-on experience in laboratories, sharpen your critical thinking and problem-solving skills through our engaging liberal arts curriculum, and receive personalized advising to guide you on the path to dental school. Along the way, you’ll develop both the technical expertise and the human-centered skills that set successful dentists apart.
