Business Administration
The journey toward becoming an entrepreneur starts in a business classroom — learning the rules and applying them to your passions.
Why is business the most popular major at Monmouth?
Because our curriculum focuses on the real world of global commerce — not just textbook models. You’ll learn how to be adaptable, flexible, and ready for any professional opportunity. Plus, your professors bring first-hand experience from places like Wall Street directly into the classroom, so what you study is grounded in the realities of today’s business world.
Yahnke Internship Fund
You’ll have access to the Yahnke Business and Economics Endowed Internship Fund. The Yahnke Internship Fund will help you with getting internship opportunities and helps with your living costs, travel, and general needs during your internship.
Employers will be asking for you
Employers at HON (HNI), Flexsteel and Pepper Construction (just to name a few!) call and ask for our graduates. You’ll leave Monmouth prepared for roles in industry, government and nongovernmental organizations by learning to ethically manage operations, financial and physical assets, and personnel in the workplace.
Concentrate in finance, management or marketing
You’ll get the best of all worlds. Regardless of concentration, all business administration students take a broad array of courses in economics, accounting, management, marketing, finance and law, so you’ll graduate with a breadth of business knowledge rather than narrow training in just one area.
